England Captains and Continental Flair
The smooth talking, unflappable, housewives favourite, Gary Lineker will be the anchor of the Beeb’s coverage from France. He’ll be joined in the studio by two former England Captains, Rio Ferdinand and Alan Shearer as well as France’s World Cup Winner (1998) Thierry Henry.
The continental flair will be provided by TV and Radio appearances for Gianluca Vialli and Jens Lehmann. The competing home nation camps will be infiltrated by Gabby Logan (England), Stephen Watson (Northern Ireland) and Jason Mohammad (Wales).
Dylan Ebenezer and Nic Parri will lead presentation duties for BBC Wales on S4C, while Stephen Watson and Michael McNamee will be at the helm on BBC Northern Ireland.
“As excitement builds towards one of the most anticipated sporting events of 2016, we are delighted to bring audiences closer to the heart of the action than ever before with unparalleled coverage across TV, radio and enhanced personalised options across our digital services available 24/7.”
