Round 05: Jason Excels in a Deflated Weekend

Jason led the way in a weekend that left most struggling to get to grips with some high scoring matches – 36 goals in ten matches in fact!

chelsea-v-liverpool
Conte v Klopp resulted in only Damian scoring a single point on Friday evening and starting a solid weekend.

With an average of 3.6 goals per match in Round 05, three-point exact predictions were at a premium this weekend. The secret to success in a Round of results such as that, is consistency and the ability to score as many one-points as possible – a task tackled well by Jason.

He scored at least one point in nine-out-of-ten matches – the only match he didn’t pick up something was the Chelsea v Liverpool match on Friday evening, but then who did score anything for Liverpool’s 2-1 away win? Well, Damian actually, who predicted that The reds would win 3-1.

Damian was the only other player to finish the weekend on double-figures. Like most people he thought Man Utd would have enough to go to Vicarage Road and come away with the points, but no, they didn’t! In fact, did anyone predict a Watford win? Well yes actually, Jason did!

Jason and Damian move themselves up to ninth and tenth respectively, while Martin G has had his lead pegged back at the top of the table by Jamie S whose nine-point haul included three points for successfully predicting Leicester would stuff Burnley 3-0 at Turf Moor.
