Two Player-of-the-Month awards (for two players have shared it), a change at the top and an “oh, so close” in the One-Round-Wonder chase.
Player of the Month
Gareth and Dan end up sharing the Player-of-the-Month for March (£7.09 each). Dan had the edge going into the weekend, but Gareth’s solid weekend of 12 points (1.2 per match) trumped Dan’s 8 and it was honours even.
One-Round-Wonder
Talking of solid weekends, Ian’s round could almost have earned him £28.35 for One-Round-Wonder top spot.
With just the Man City v Liverpool match to go on the Monday Night Football, and a home win predicted, Ian just needed Man City to win (by any score) and he would have taken top spot. As it was, they shared two goals and Simon remains in pole position.
New Leader at the Top
During the course of his equal-best round of Game 02, Gareth managed to jump above Darren into first place overall – starting to look like it could be a successful game for him. Gareth’s only previous (recorded) money wins in SPAPP both came in the 2014/15 season when he shared a Player-of-the-Month (£11.00) and the Ten-for-Ten in Game 02 (£22.00).
