Round 10’s matches kick-off Saturday lunchtime with what used to be a home banker – Manchester United v Tottenham… “Lads, it’s Tottenham”!
Man Utd v Tottenham
Manchester United have won 20 of their past 25 Premier League home matches against Tottenham Hotspur (D3 L2).
Spurs, who beat Man Utd in May, can record consecutive PL victories against the Red Devils for the first time.
Mauricio Pochettino has lost more PL matches against Jose Mourinho (4) than he has versus any other manager in the competition.
Fifteen of Harry Kane’s 29 PL goals in 2017 have come away from home – only Sergio Aguero (17 in 2016) and Robin van Persie (19 in 2011) have scored more on the road in a single calendar year.
Arsenal v Swansea
Arsenal can win back-to-back Premier League matches against Swansea City for the first time.
Swansea City have won three times away at Emirates Stadium in the Premier League – only Chelsea have defeated Arsenal more often there (4).
This will be Arsene Wenger’s 800th PL match in charge of Arsenal – only Sir Alex Ferguson (810) has managed more in the competition.
Olivier Giroud has been directly involved in five goals in seven PL starts against Swansea (three goals, two assists).
Crystal Palace v West Ham
West Ham United are unbeaten against Crystal Palace in the Premier League under Slaven Bilic (W3 D1 L0).
Manuel Lanzini has scored in all four of his PL matches against Crystal Palace (four goals) and has netted more goals in the competition against them than any other West Ham player.
Nine of Lanzini’s 14 career PL goals have come in London derby matches (64%).
Only Riyad Mahrez (50) has attempted more dribbles this season than Palace’s Andros Townsend & West Ham’s Michail Antonio (both 43).
Liverpool v Huddersfield
Liverpool have lost only one of their last 42 Premier League home matches against newly-promoted sides and are unbeaten in each of the last 19.
Huddersfield Town can become only the fourth promoted side to beat both Liverpool and Manchester United in the same season (after Bolton Wanderers, Manchester City and Portsmouth).
Aaron Mooy has been directly involved in 10 league goals for Huddersfield in 2017 (four goals, six assists).
Mohamed Salah has scored five goals in his first nine PL appearances for Liverpool, level with Dirk Kuyt and only fewer than Robbie Fowler (6) at this stage of his Liverpool career in the competition.
Watford v Stoke
Watford have lost only two of their nine Premier League matches this season (W4 D3 L2), against current leaders Manchester City and reigning champions Chelsea.
Stoke City’s Peter Crouch has three goals in his two Premier League starts against Watford.
Only Man City (also 10) can match Watford’s 10 different goalscorers in the PL this season.
Watford’s Abdoulaye Doucoure has scored four goals from four shots on target in the Premier League for Watford this season.
West Brom v Man City
Manchester City are unbeaten in their last 15 Premier League matches against West Bromwich Albion (W14 D1) and have won the last 11 in a row.
A win for Man City would give them the best-ever start for any team in Premier League history after 10 matches.
Sergio Aguero has seven goals and four assists in 10 PL appearances against West Brom.
Leroy Sane has both scored and assisted in three of his last four PL matches.
Bournemouth v Chelsea
This will be the 10th match between AFC Bournemouth and Chelsea in all competitions, Chelsea winning seven and losing only twice.
Jermain Defoe is the only player to score in the Premier League against Chelsea for four different clubs (Spurs, West Ham, Sunderland and Portsmouth) and could extend that to five clubs in this match.
Eden Hazard has scored four goals in four PL appearances against the Cherries, three coming at Vitality Stadium.
Michy Batshuayi has scored six goals as a substitute in the Premier League since the start of last season; only Olivier Giroud has more (7).
Brighton v Southampton
Southampton have won five of their last seven away matches against Brighton & Hove Albion (D1 L1).
Saints have won more Premier League away matches in 2017 (5) than they have at home (4).
Pascal Groaa has been involved in six of Brighton’s nine PL goals (two goals, four assists) and has already equalled his tally of assists (4) in both of his previous two league seasons.
Nathan Redmond has attempted the most shots (24) without scoring a goal in the Premier League this season.
Leicester v Everton
Leicester City have lost their last two Premier League matches against Everton, as many as in the previous 15 combined.
Everton can win three consecutive PL matches versus Leicester City for the first time.
Jamie Vardy has two goals and two assists in four previous PL appearances against the Toffees.
Wayne Rooney has scored in each of Everton’s last two PL matches and can net in three successive appearances for the first time since January 2016.
Burnley v Newcastle
The home side is unbeaten in each of the last eight league meetings between Burnley and Newcastle United (five wins, three draws).
Newcastle’s 14 points from their first nine Premier League matches is the best points tally at this stage of a campaign by a newly-promoted side since West Ham United in 2012/13 (14).
Burnley have faced the most shots in the PL this season (170) but no side have allowed their opponents to score with a lower proportion of their shots than them (5%).
Only one of the eight PL goals that Newcastle have conceded this season has come in the first half, a PL-low.
