2017/18 – Game 01 – Round 14

It’s the first mid-week round in a while, so don’t forget to get your predictions in for matches on Tuesday and Wednesday this week – these are also the last chances to score points in the race for November’s Player-of-the-Month.

Jamie Sawyer is starting to run away with things now. He’s a five point lead in the race for November’s Player-of-the-Month. If, as looks likely, he secures that, it will be his third Player-of-the-Month out of the last four!

Additionally, he’s built himself a nine point lead at the top of the Overall table. His 114 points is eclipsing the 105 of Ian Hodgson in second, who in turn is seven ahead of Martin Gayton (98). The chasing pack are Trevor Shipton (who was third ahead of Round 13) on 97, Martin Hayman (96) and Darren Bellamy in sixth on 94 points.

Six of Jamie’s last eight rounds have been double-figure scores – 11, 10, 4, 10, 12, 7, 10, 11.

One Round Wonder

It’s curious that the target for One-Round-Wonder remains 14 points and that there still seems to be a block to beating the current best One Round Score of 13. There have been no less than seven round scores of 13 so far – will this be the Round where Jamie Cox and Martin Hayman are dislodged from the top?
