2017/18 – Game 02 – Round 07

After February’s Player-of-the-Month performance, Craig Ellis will be hoping to continue his good form into the Spring, starting with Round 07 this weekend.

Craig’s impressive 30 points from 29 matches (average per match of 1.03) saw him rise from tenth overall to second in the three rounds of February. Table topping Jamie Cox, who was just one point behind Craig in February points, has a three point lead at the top off the back of four three-pointers in the last two rounds.

There are seven matches on Saturday, starting with Burnley v Everton at lunchtime (12:30, Sky Sports) and followed by five matches at three o’clock, including Tottenham looking to extend their unbeaten PL run to ten matches when they host Huddersfield.

The teatime match (17:30, BT Sport), Liverpool v Newcastle, will provoke memories of 4-3 results from the nineties. Probably not the best score to predict these days, but each to their own!

There are two matches on Sunday, followed by Man Utd’s trip to Palace on Monday evening. Will anybody be hoping for a result in that match to top the One-Round-Wonder table? Time will tell.
