Last weekend Cynthia West secured the March Player of the Month, out-scoring her nearest rival by a full 11 points.
Not only did Cynth top the Player of the Month table for March, she has also set the new standard in the chase for One Round Wonder. 18 points is now the target if you have any pretensions for winning the £32.40 prize money on this one.
As is standard now, the weekend kicks-off with a lunchtime match – the Merseyside Derby (Everton v Liverpool, 12:30, Sky Sports). This is followed by six three o’clock’s, including a relegation six-pointer – West Brom v Swansea. The teatime match could see Man City clinch this seasons Premier League title with a victory at home against their neighbours from across the city.
Sunday’s matches include three London clubs who won’t be finishing this season in the top four, when Arsenal host Southampton and Chelsea welcome West Ham.
Don’t forget, last Sunday’s matches were the first two of April/May’s Player-of-the-Month. Every match from now until the end of the season will count towards this final monthly prize.
