2017/18 – Game 02 – Round 12

Just five full rounds and some postponed matches to go now – and those postponed matches are just around the corner. After this weekend’s shenanigans there will be four rearranged matches in mid-week next week.

Bournemouth make the long trek up to Merseyside to face Liverpool in the teatime game (17:30, BT Sport) – there have been 19 goals scored in the previous five Premier League meetings between these sides, an average of 3.8 per match.

There’s a bonus Saturday game in the evening. The ‘Best Team in the Country’, Man City, on a three-match losing run, travel to Wembley to take on Tottenham in what could be a cracking game (19:45, Sky Sports).

Sunday see’s what is now a traditional two match Sky Sports line up, with Newcastle v Arsenal and Man Utd looking to nail another coffin in West Brom’s relegation coffin at teatime. The final game to count towards Round 11 is Monday’s evenings West Ham v Stoke (20:00, Sky Sports).

Then we’re in to the mid-week bonus games! There are four in all that count towards the Player-of-the-Month and the overall table, but NOT Round 11…

  • Tuesday – Brighton v Tottenham (19:45, Sky Sports)
  • Wednesday – Bournemouth v Man Utd (19:45, BT Sport)
  • Thursday – Burnley v Chelsea (19:45, Sky Sports)
  • Thursday – Leicester v Southampton (19:45)
