2017/18 – Game 02 – Round 13

Just six matches in Round 13 this weekend because of the FA Cup semi-finals, but every prediction counts when we’re this close to the end of the season, so be sure to give it plenty of thought.

With only six matches to predict this Round, Cynthia West just be safe at the top of the One Round Wonder table for another week. For any one else to take that top spot, they would need six exact predictions from six matches – and that, would be incredible!

Although there aren’t many matches, the weekend will still last from Saturday lunchtime (West Brom v Liverpool) through to Monday evening (Everton v Newcastle). In between there’s a London derby on Saturday afternoon (Watford v Palace, 15:00) and another one on Sunday lunchtime (Arsenal v West Ham, 13:30).

Also on Sunday, Stoke will be hoping to take a step closer to survival when they host Burnley (also 13:30) and the struggling Swansea travel to Manchester to take on the newly crowned champions City.

One Hundred Up

Martin Hayman (106 points) and Craig Ellis (102) both topped the one hundred points mark with the points picked up in mid-week. Martin’s lead is now four points over Craig in second though after collecting an impressive seven points from the four re-scheduled matches.

The fight for third (and the final money paying slot at the top) is between Cynthia West (97) and Steve Keay (96) at the moment, with Cynth’s Husband, Keith, probably ruing missed predictions a couple of weeks ago on 91 points.

Defending Champion from Game 01, Jamie Sawyer, is a little of the pace with 88, while last season’s Game 02 Champion, Gareth Bridges, is even further back in 14th on 82 points.
