Round 01: Preview

Our first Match of Game 02 is a Saturday lunchtime London derby that sees West Ham host Arsenal in the 12:30 kick-off. This is followed by five matches at three o’clock before Newcastle travel to Chelsea for the teatime match (17:30).

There are only two matches to look forward to on Sunday, the first of which sees two out of form teams go head-to-head at Goodison Park when Bournemouth visit Everton. The second is the small matter of Tottenham v Man Utd!

The weekend carries on into Monday for goal-happy Man City to stick a few past the Wolves goalkeeper (probably)!

Another Way to Win: Fourth Place Prize

Ten percent of the Prize Fund will now be given over to create a prize for the player finishing in fourth place at the end of the Game. With all of the other prize positions and achievements on offer, that’s now a dozen ways of winning money in Premier Predictions.

Players who would have benefited from this prize previously are Simon Allen, Martin Hayman and Ian Hodgson, all of whom have finished fourth on two occasions each.

Of course, to make that fourth place ten percent available something has to give, and that something is the top two positions. The prize share for the Overall Winner has been reduced from 25% to 20% while the Runner-up share has been reduced from 20% to 15%.

How the prize fund is split out can be seen in the Rules of Premier Predictions.

Twenty Point Jackpot: Ain’t Reset

The Jackpot will be £21 for Round 01 of Game 02 and will continue to grow at the rate of £1 per Round until somebody achieves the magical 20 points in a Round. Should no winner be established in Game 02, then the prize will be rolled-over into next season and would start at £38.
