Round 09: Review

For the first time in this Game of Premier Predictions, the highest scoring player in the Round didn’t hit double figures. Damian Chapman may have been disappointed to score just nine points and surprised to have been the Rounds top scorer. Regardless, he should definitely be given credit for correctly predicting that Southampton would beat Tottenham 2-1 at Saint Mary’s.

Gary Alcroft still holds top spot in March’s Player-of-the-Month (21 points), by just one point from Mike Hodgson who celebrated his birthday weekend with a (probably) disappointing 6 points. Mike remained just inside the top ten, seven points off top of the pile Martin Gayton (79 points).

Nestled nicely just two points behind Martin are Simon Allen and Scott Symonds (77). Two points further back from them are Gary Alcroft and Shaun Allen (both 75 points).

Round 10: Matches

Unfortunately, there are only 5 matches to predict this weekend because of the FA Cup Quarter-finals.

Saturday 16th February

  • 15:00 – Bournemouth v Newcastle
  • 15:00 – Burnley v Leicester
  • 15:00 – West Ham v Huddersfield

Sunday 17th March

  • 14:15 – Fulham v Liverpool (Sky Sports)
  • 16:30 – Everton v Chelsea (Sky Sports)

Twenty Point Jackpot: Hits £30

The Jackpot will be £30 for Round 10 and will continue to grow at the rate of £1 per Round until somebody achieves the magical 20 points. Should there be no winner in Game 02, then the prize will be rolled-over into next season and would start at £38.
