Low scoring start to the Game sets a mediocre One-Week-Wonder target while some new boys show promise.

Round 01: Review

Three players managed double fingers in Round 01. Super-consistent Martin Hayman topped the Round (and therefore the Overall) Table with 11 points including two exacts. Lloyd Hide and Cynth West both collected ten points to be sat in the top three. Cynth only collected one exact, meaning there were only two matches in the ten of Round 01 where she didn’t [ick up at least one point.

Defending Champion, Scott Symonds, had an average start with just points, including scoring nil from the four 3 o’clock kick-offs on Saturday! New boy Paul Marsden impressed with a haul of eight, correctly predicting Tottenham to beat Villa 3-1 in the Saturday teatime match. Fellow debutante, Scott Valenti, managed a decent seven despite scoring just one point in Sunday’s three fixtures.

Round 02: Matches

With no Friday evening match in this Round, you have a few extra hours to consider your predictions for the first match of the weekend.

Twenty Point Jackpot

The Twenty Point Jackpot will increase for Round 02 to £39. If any player manages to score 20 points in a single Round, then they will win the jackpot amount. The jackpot will increase by £1 for each Round nobody manages this feat.
