Round 08: Review
Not only was Round 08 another low scoring round, it was the lowest scoring one so far this season! If we added all the scores for the round together, we get 139 – that’s an average of just 4.63 per player, some distance below the previous lowest of 5.37 in Round 06!
Top of the (low) pile was Scott Valenti with 11 points, which is the second round in-a-row that Scott has scored 11 – quite a change in form after scoring that many in the previous three rounds!
The real news is at the top of the Overall table where Martin Hayman (71 points) now has a nine point lead over Gareth Bridges and Lloyd Hide (62) in second and third place respectively. Shaun Allen occupies the final prize position at the top of the table with 60 points.

Round 09: Matches
When the Premier League returns after the second International Break of the season, there will be a massive eight matches on Saturday, including six at three o’clock. The weekend will also be extended (which I like) as there is a spot of Monday Night Football when Sheffield United host Arsenal.
Twenty Point Jackpot: £46
The Twenty Point Jackpot will increase for Round 09 to £46. If any player manages to score 20 points in a single Round, then they will win the jackpot amount. The jackpot will increase by £1 for each Round nobody manages this feat.
