Round 16: Review
It was a low scoring Round again, but Martin Magookin managed to nail a double-pointer (10 points) for the second consecutive round. As a result, he’s topping the Player of the Month table with 26 points, two ahead of Simon Allen on 24 (obviously!).
Magoo is starting to run away with the Overall lead as well now. He has a nine point lead over second place Gareth Bridges and ten points ahead of Simon in third. There’s just four rounds of the game left to play now.
If Martin maintains top spot in the Monthly table and wins Overall, he’ll collect £107.50… that would be £86 for being Champion and a further £21.50 for the Monthly prize. You can remind yourself of the prize structure for this game in the Thanks and Prize Money story from earlier in the season.

Round 17: Matches
I think there’s a nice ‘shape’ to the fixtures in Round 17. We have six matches on Saturday, including lunchtime and teatime matches. There are four at three o’clock.
The weekend is extended with the ‘local derby’ of Palace v Brighton on Monday and Sunday has a pleasing three matches involving six teams who it was felt at the start of the season would be fighting for European spots.
Twenty Point Jackpot: £54
The Twenty Point Jackpot is now £54. If any player manages to score 20 points in a single Round, then they will win the jackpot amount. The jackpot will increase by £1 for each Round nobody manages this feat.
