Mince pies, mulled wine, mardy children, Love Actually, Santa, office parties, Elf on the Shelf, late night shopping and turkey’s will all not be mentioned again in this update, but the Premier Predictions Christmas Bonus will…
A Bonus? Tell Me More…
A Christmas Bonus eh? How do I get some of that? Well, it seems that the Twenty Point Jackpot is proving difficult to win, as it’s now approaching £60 and we rarely see anyone score more than 14 points in a single round.
So in the final two rounds of Game 01, we’re reducing the target to just 15 points. We’re also reducing the prize to £25, but don’t let that put you off!
How’s It Work Then?
Here are the ins and outs of the prize…
- The points target will be reduced to 15 points in Rounds 19 (Boxing Day and the 27th) and Round 20 (28th and 29th December).
- It will be funded from the Twenty Point Jackpot fund, with that prize reduced accordingly when we move into Game 02 in the new year.
- Rounds 19 and 20 will both have £25 up for grabs – should more than one person score 15 points or more in one of those rounds, then the bonus will be shared equally.
- In the unlikely event that someone scores 20 points in one of the rounds, then all Bonus payments are off and they will collect the full prize fund.
On the subject of prizes, if you’ve collected a Player-of-the-Month at any point in Game 01, you’ll get your prize awarded after Game 01 has finished and Game 02 starts – it’s a lot easier for me to deal with all the prizes and entries in one block, which I’ll be doing as soon as the new year starts.
Game 02 of the 2019/20 Premier Predictions season will start on Friday 10th January. The entry fee will remain at £25 – let me know if you’d like to play again. The ‘official’ invitations will go out in the next week or two and of course the game is open to new players if you know anyone else.
