Round 03: Review

Keith scored a handy 13 to move equal top (on points) with Gareth Bridges, who scored 9 points in Round 03. New boy, Jeremy Wise and defending Champion, Martin Magookin, both posted 11 points, while Martin Gayton was the only other player to score double points (10).

Miles Chapman has been quietly going about his business – he currently sits third overall on 27 points, having not scored less than 8 in any of the first three rounds.

Player of the Month: One More Match

West Ham’s rearranged match against champions elect Liverpool this Wednesday is the last opportunity to score points in January’s Player-of-the-Month – so don’t miss that one. Although that match does count towards January’s total, any points won won’t contribute to any Round totals.

With the final match of the month being a relatively obvious prediction, realistically I feel the Winner of January’s Player-of-the-Month will come from one of the current top three – Gareth, Keith or Miles. Should more than on player end on the same points, then the Player of the Month prize (£20.90) will be shared.

Round 04: Preview

There are no less than eight match scheduled for this Saturday. The two televised matches are Leicester v Chelsea (12:30, BT Sport) and Man Utd v Wolves (17:30, Sky Sports).

With so many matches on Saturday there are just two matches on Sunday – both on Sky Sports and both involving the two north London clubs – Arsenal and Tottenham.

Twenty Point Jackpot: £61

The Twenty Point Jackpot will be £61 for the next Round. If any player manages to score 20 points in a single Round, then they will win the jackpot amount. The jackpot will increase by £1 for each Round nobody manages this feat.
