Game Round 14: Review
Marcus achieved his highest Game Round score of the Game so far – 12 points including three Exact predictions in a row from Saturday teatime through to Sunday lunchtime. This haul moved him up to 21st in the Overall table.
Champion elect Jeremy (99 points) also had a handy weekend, racking up 11 points and growing his lead in the Overall table to six points. With just two Game Rounds left to predict, that could well be an unassailable lead. It’s the brothers Lawrence and Liam Sutton (93) who lead the pack chasing after Jeremy.
Darren Bellamy and Jamie Cox (92) are one point further back with five points covering fourth place to Scott Symonds in 13th. Any one of these players could reasonably hope to pick up the prize for fourth place. Here’s a reminder of what those prizes look like.
Don’t forget, the December Player of the Month will be decided over the Christmas period as well. Currently Mike (36 points) has a one point lead over Dave (35), who in turn has a one point lead over Simon (34), with a further one point back to Martin Hayman (33) – four long time players heading up the final Player of the Month in Game 01.
League Cup: Final
You’ll need to take a look at the SACS League Cup page to see the story of the Final, but I think it’s fair to say the League Cup has had a successful initial outing. I’d like to thank Shaun at this point for his sponsorship of the tournament and say well done to both Darren Addy and Steve Keay for reaching the Final.
Twenty Point Jackpot: 25% Off Sale
To keep everyone involved in what promises to be an exciting end to Game 01, we’re having a Winter Sale on the Twenty Point Jackpot. For Round 15 only, you’ll only need to score 15 points to secure 50% of the current Twenty Point Jackpot fund – that’s £43.50 for achieving 15 points.
You can read a bit more about the Twenty Point Jackpot Winter Sale in the story of the same name.
Twenty Point Jackpot: £87
The Twenty Point Jackpot moves on to £87 for Round 15. If nobody collects the Jackpot using the 25% off Sale (see above) then we’ll be playing to win £88 in the final Game Round of Game 01 (Round 16). Should the prize not be won at all in the final two Rounds, then Game 02 of the season will begin with a jackpot of £89.
If any player manages to score 20 points in a single Round, then they win the jackpot amount. The jackpot increases by £1 for each Round nobody manages this feat.
